Trailer for Rob Zombie's The Haunted World of El Superbeasto finally arrived. This is direct to DVD animated movie and it is based on the comics created by the same Rob Zombie, who is not only famous musician and movie director, but apparently he also draws as well. The DVD is due to appear in September and it looks like fun animation for adults with enough violence and sex to make it truly distinctive.The film follows the adventures of El Superbeasto, a washed-up Mexican wrestler, and his sultry sidekick and sister Suzi-X as they confront an evil villain by the name of Dr. Satan. The adventure, set in the mythic world of Monsterland.

Apparently he also draws as well? Are you kidding? Have you ever seen the Beavis and Butthead movie? Or the CD art on La Sexorcisto? Or ALL the booklet art in Astro Creep? Dude is a great cartoonist.

ReplyDeleteI saw Beavis and Butthead movie number of times, had no idea he was part of the art department, besides, it was just one scene. I am not familiar with the rest of the stuff you mentioned.
