Reuse, Reduce, Recycle

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Harry Potter franchise is coming to an end, and we already have a replacement. Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is the first in the series of adventure/fantasy books about, well, Percy Jackson, a 12 year old boy that discovers that he is the son of Poseidon, god of the sea, and that Greek gods are for real and they have many, many other children "demigods", and that they live, for some reason, on the 600th floor of the Empire State Building.

The series of books is equally popular to Harry Potter stories, maybe even more popular, and since one worked out so beautifully, why not make the same with the other. The cast looks very, very impressive, suitable for the enormous budget someone put into the film. Too bad that the actor looks nothing like 12 years old, he actually will be 18 when the film comes out upcoming February, which means for the next films he will be 20 something year old playing a teenager under 16. Unless it was intentional to make him older, I don't see how he will participate in the next films.
And another big setback is director, Chris "Home Alone" Columbus, who ruined first two Potter films. I say too bad because he is actually quite terrible director, and whoever gave him this opportunity made huge mistake, and you all going to see what I mean when this film comes out.

In the meantime, nothing like a teaser to make first impression.

Watch this in other formats: 720p and 1080p.
