Megan Fox recently commented on her role in Transformers, how it wasn't really an acting challenge, and when Bay yelled "Action!" she was suppose either to run or to scream, or sometimes both. Bay didn't leave this without respond and said something, as usual, megalomaniac, which can be summarized in "The sun revolves around me, I am the creator, I am god" or something like that.
The whole story probably didn't endangered her role in Transformers 3 if she still wants it, but you never know. There are thousands of young girls like Megan looking for a chance to scream and run from imaginable robots, and she will not be able to rely on her looks forever. So her next films will be a test for her acting skills, in case she doesn't want to crawl back to Bay.
BTW, she did a topless scene for that film, but it is still unclear if it'll make the final cut.

Superman's job is now available. Brandon Routh, whose career didn't really take off since he played the man of steel, said in the interview that his contract to play Superman in the next installment has been expired. Considering poor box office performance (comparing to its huge budget) of Superman Returns, and since Routh is now no more than just another Dean Cain, I will put my money on the new actor. That in case next Superman movie will be made after all. Maybe the studio is waiting for Tom Welling to grow up a little and give him a try. We'll see.

New live action Star Wars TV series will start filming in Australia soon. No details on what or who or how, but expect this to be huge.

Official poster for Surrogates features Bruce Willis without his hairy friend. Still, it is pretty awful poster.

Terry Gilliam's next film is The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, which starts shooting in 2010. Being a disaster the first time, Gilliam hopes that now he will be able to make it right and nothing will stop him from succeeding. Not even losing his lead actor, which is exactly what's going to happen. Depp was suppose to star, but now he is not so sure about that:
We have talked about it. But to be honest, the thing about Terry… I love Terry, and I’d do anything the guy wants to do, but with Quixote… my dance card is pretty nutty for the next couple of years. So I’d hate to put him in a position - or ask to be in a position - where he’d have to wait for me. That would be wrong. [...] So I don’t know if it’s right for me to go back there.Gilliam also have something to say:
Johnny gets first dibs on the thing. I think he is just tied up with too many big projects that he is locked himself into. [...] We can't wait until Johnny's available. Nevertheless, he gets first choice, and we'll see if anything changes on his dance card.Somehow I don't think he will have a problem to find any other actor instead. Full interview with Gilliam here.
Nice topless pic :)What happened to her tattoo on her left side? It kind of looks like some the letters were removed or something.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that her Marilyn Monroe tattoo on right hand is missing too. I guess they put some make up on it to hide it and water washed it away or something.
