Was it planned to have Tony change appearance when he travels between worlds? Or did they just re-write it like that so it could be finished without Ledger. It looks awesome...looking forward to this.
No, of course not. They were planning to finish it up with Ledger. This is why when he passed away they invented all kind of ways around it, I hope it actually works.
And I am afraid we will have to wait longer to see the film - it doesn't have a US distributor yet. The Lionsgate logo in the beginning and the date in the end don't mean anything, it is not official, they just hoping for release at these dates. Maybe they will find someone in the last moment, but right now they have no one to put it in theaters. I think it will be in Europe before US.
