Beyond the valley of silicon

After a year of teasing and delays, this silicon exploitation fest called Bitch Slap finally gets a date for limited theatrical release. Mark your calendars, on January the 8th this abomination, filled with Russ Meyer and Quentin Tarantino influences, hits the screens to almost unavoidable flop. Good thing there is a Blu-Ray coming out later, because the only people coming to see it in theater are middle age and overweight single males, wearing long trench coats over naked bodies and with pack of tissues in their pockets. I suspect.
Anyway, I don't see in this movie any value beyond temporary satisfaction of breast fetish obsessions. Large breasted and half naked girls fight and use big guns while getting all sweaty and dirty. Oh, I can't wait to see that.

Here is new HD trailer, which is pretty much the same as the red band trailer from a year ago.

You can watch it on this page in other formats. Also official website is also up, with red band trailer and interactive content that includes number of very short fragments from the film.
There is also a short behind the scenes sample, as I understand from a full length "the making of" documentary.

And for dessert, the three leading ladies.

  1. I enjoyed this film. I don't know why you're taking this so seriously. This is just a fun, spoof film. It's a comedy, action film.

BTW, I am not a middle age, horny male. I am a 25 year old, quite attractive, female college student who gets straight 'A's, and then is headed to grad school to be a doctor.

I see nothing wrong with films which are just for entertainment, fun and laughs. Not every film has to be deep and searching. Yeah, so there are no major stars in this film.

I thought it was a well-made film for the budget, and just a fun watch and a lot of laughs. I watched it with my boyfriend, who is in his early 30s, has and MBA and is quite successful. He had a gas watching it too.

But then, I'm not like a lot of my girlfriends. I don't spend all my time with a cell phone attached my face and my brain. I'm not into rap music. I love the music of the late 60s and early 70s.

So, maybe I'm different for my age, but I like the way I am. My friends just have to accept me for who I am. I also work out and surf on the weekends or when I have time to spare from my university classes schedule.

I am very educated and have a high IQ. My boyfriend is also quite educated and has a high IQ. Sometimes we have fun watching cheesy films, but this film was one of the most fun, cheesy films I have seen in a while.

Maybe you should just relax a little, just let yourself relax and not be so judgmental, have fun, and just go with a film.

This was one of the most fun, low budget films I have seen in the last year.

    Thanks for listening.

And remember to just relax and have a bit of fun with films every now and then.

    Love,

    Surfer Girl
