So, I've got two exploding trailers for 2012, new Martin Scorsese, very promising teaser for The Last Airbender, two violent trailers for Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and one final trailer for GI Joe.

It seems that Roland Emmerich, who is no stranger to "destroy the Earth" sub genre with previously Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, is reaching new levels of imagination, annihilating billions of people and completely wiping out the entire Earth civilization in various ways in this film. The images of world destruction are truly stunning, he sure knows how to work on people's subliminal fears with some sort of sadistic pleasure. The movie will be cheesy as hell, of course, but it doesn't really matter.

Shutter Island looks good. Leonardo Dicaprio has had some solid performances lately. He's changed a lot since his titanic days lol.
ReplyDelete2012 kind of looks like its all special effects. Hopefully it will have good acting and a good story as well.
ReplyDeleteScorsese and DiCaprio are ever a miss. One is great director the other is great actor, it's the winning horse.
ReplyDeleteAs for 2012, the acting will be good and the effects will kick ass, this will look great on the big screen, but I wouldn't put any money on a story to be good.
