Grey Goose

Brad Pitt was just now in Berlin, at the premier of the Inglourios Basterds, and German magazine BILD did very nice interview with him asking some straight questions and Pitt, cool cat, gave some straight answers.

Here is part of the interview that I liked:
BILD: Have you found happiness in life?
Brad Pitt (nodding): Hm – yes. I am on the path I want to be on.”

BILD: Do you believe in God?
Brad Pitt (smiling): “No, no, no!”

BILD: Is your soul spiritual?
Brad Pitt: “No, no, no! I’m probably 20 per cent atheist and 80 per cent agnostic. I don’t think anyone really knows. You’ll either find out or not when you get there, until then there’s no point thinking about it.

BILD: Are you scared of aging?
Brad Pitt (smirking): The grey hairs on his beard glisten: “No I like it. I think it’s good.”

BILD: Do you find the time to make love?
Brad Pitt (looks puzzled): What?

BILD: Is it sometimes just the two of you?
Brad Pitt: “Yes we make time for ourselves. It’s very important for every relationship.”

  1. Didn't know there was an English version of the BILD webiste. The German edition of their "newspaper" is one of the worst piece of tabloid shit in Europe.
But the picture of Brad scanning just cracks me up. :D

  2. :) Apparently, you are not the only smart guy to make English version of his website. Maybe they took the idea from you? :p

I am sure it's a guilty pleasure for many people, it's the best selling tabloid in Europe for a reason, and they scored interview with Pitt, probably not the first A list star they talked to. US tabloids mostly make stuff up.

Hm.. I just read there that Schumacher is back. After what happened to Massa and BMW, they really need someone like him.

  3. He comes off way different than what the media has done. Just a wrong impression i guess, he seems really down to earth.

  4. Well, he was a reefer dude at young age, smoking weed and drinking beer. If you saw True Romance (Tony Scott with Tarantino's screenplay) you might remember him as a stoned roommate. I think this is how he was in real life too.
He never was an elitist or aristocrat, so yeah, he is relatively down to earth. At least for a famous actor who sleeps with Jolie. I would behave like an arrogant prick in his place. :)
