New teaser for Russian superhero flick Black Lightning, produced by Timur Bekmambetov is promising enough to wait for the full movie. Now we can actually see the footage from the film and the whole flying car thing actually not as pathetic and ridiculous as I was afraid it will be. On the contrary, it is very, very decent indeed.The video has Enlish subtitles, just select CC option if it's not loaded by itself.

ReplyDeleteBut seriously, cars with personality are always a hit. Herbie, Kitt, the entire cast of Pixar's Cars, not to mention multiple cartoons with talking cars and some horror films with killer cars. Fucking Transformers took it to the whole other level.
It will be nice if this film will have something similar, it sure looks like this Volga has a mind of its own. They even call her "she" in the teaser, but this is how it is in Russian. Many nonhuman objects are still called he or she in spoken language, not it.
